Anda: Bohol’s quiet beach escape

On the eastern coast of Bohol we found Anda, a stretch of powdery white sand and turquoise water with none of the crowds. We spent days snorkelling over coral gardens, collecting shells and chatting with local fisherfolk. The sunsets here were some of the best we saw in the Philippines.

Family travel tip: Bring your own snorkels if possible, stay in beachfront guesthouses for easy access and hire a tricycle to visit the nearby Lamanoc Island mangrove tour.
