Kenting fun: beaches, coral reefs and night markets
Kenting fun: beaches, coral reefs and night markets
Sunny days in Kenting meant building sandcastles, snorkeling among coral reefs and exploring tide pools teeming with hermit crabs. A sudden rain shower couldn’t dampen the fun; we simply ducked into the night market for grilled squid and shaved ice. The southern tip of Taiwan offers a tropical vibe unique from the rest of the island.
Family travel tip: Bring reef‑safe sunscreen, rent snorkelling gear on site and visit the night market early for the best selection.
Would your family prefer snorkeling or tide‑pool hunting? Let me show you how to make the most of Kenting with kids. Our stay was $56, a solid deal for the comfort we got. Lunch was $27, offering great value. Dinner cost $20, proof that tasty doesn’t mean pricey. Altogether, we spent about $103 for the day.
