A Coron Sunday: Dogs in Church and Resort Downtime
A Coron Sunday: Dogs in Church and Resort Downtime
We’ve learned that Sunday looks different wherever you are. In Coron, we found ourselves at a small church service where a friendly stray dog wandered between pews, much to the kids’ delight. Afterwards we checked into a local resort for a rest day: swimming in the pool, eating halo‑halo and marveling at how quickly laundry dries in the tropical sun. Even on the road, having a Sabbath of sorts grounds us as a family.
Family travel tip: Balance adventure with rest. Coron has gorgeous resorts that offer day passes—perfect for a mid‑trip recharge. Bring along card games and a favourite book for quiet moments, and don’t be surprised if the church choir features clucking chickens and wagging tails!
