One of our favourite experiences in Hội An was riding basket boats through the coconut groves of Cẩm Thanh. The round bamboo boats spun and swayed as local guides demonstrated crab‑fishing and even performed a dizzying “spinning boat dance.” The kids’ laughter echoed across the water.

We balanced adventure with food, sampling Cao Lầu—a noodle dish unique to Hội An—and fresh spring rolls from street vendors. At night we watched as lanterns flickered along the waterfront.
