La Leona Waterfall Adventure

Hidden upstream from Playa Hermosa, La Leona Waterfall rewarded us with aqua‑blue water, swim‑through caves and a treasure hunt for sparkling stones. The hike involved scrambling over boulders and wading waist‑deep through a river—a perfect mix of challenge and fun for our crew. Emerging into the waterfall’s plunge pool felt like finding a secret world.
