Samara: Love, Hate and Lessons Learned
Samara: Love, Hate and Lessons Learned
Samara Beach stole our hearts then tried our patience. We loved the laid‑back town, gentle surf and affordable cafés, but had a reality check when our rental car was broken into at the beach. Losing a bag of wet towels isn’t the end of the world, but the hassle reminded us to be vigilant. We didn’t let it spoil our time—sunsets and coconut shrimp helped—but we learned to keep valuables hidden and lock doors even in paradise.
Family travel tip: When visiting Samara or any beach town, never leave belongings in sight. Use hotel safes, keep cash and passports on you, and consider renting accommodations with secure parking. Despite the hiccup, Samara remains a great spot for beginner surf lessons and relaxed family meals.
