Siquijor spirits: waterfalls, beaches and folklore

Siquijor island carries a mystical reputation, but we found nothing but warmth. We swam at Cambugahay Falls, swung on vines into turquoise pools, visited a 400‑year‑old balete tree and chatted with healers who explained traditional herbal practices. Sunset on Salagdoong Beach was unforgettable.

Family travel tip: Rent a motorbike or hire a tricycle to explore the island, bring water shoes for the waterfalls and consider a Healing and Wellness tour if you’re curious about local traditions.

Would you embrace an island known for myths and healers? Our Siquijor itinerary showcases natural beauty and cultural experiences.
