Cebu City: southern hub of culture and commerce

Known as the ‘Queen City of the South,’ Cebu City served as our base in the Visayas. We visited historical sites like Magellan’s Cross, strolled along Colon Street and indulged in lechon and dried mango snacks. Between visits to islands we took time to appreciate this bustling hub.

Family travel tip: Stay in the uptown area for easy access to malls and attractions, ride jeepneys for short trips and take day trips to nearby beaches or mountain views.
